Hannah Perry's diverse body of work, which spans installation, sculpture, and video, tells autobiographical stories mixed with shared cultural language, delving into the complexities of gender and class, and their intersectionality. Manipulating materials to create installations, including Manual Labour (Baltic Contemporary), Bodyshop (Galerie Kandlhofer), or GUSH (Somerset House), Perry substitutes the body for the industrial to explore ideas of societal roles, and physical and mental health.
